The String Beans Band will perform at a back-to-school event for ward and church members on September 12th, the Flydogz food, activities and games at First Presbyterian Church, 840 S. 17th St.

Back-to-school event at First Presbyterian Church – 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. September 12. Public and church members are welcome, bring a blanket or chair, live music with the String Beans Band, food from FlyDogz, games and free school supplies for neighborhood kids, east side of the church, parking lot at 18th Street Los, 840 S. 17th St.

Barnabas – 9-10 a.m. (Saturdays), free takeaway breakfast; 11 am-1pm free shopping in store, 931 Saunders Ave.

Barnabas 1 p.m. – 1 p.m. (Tuesdays), free shopping in the shop.

Barnabas – 3 pm-5pm (Thursday), free shopping in the store; 5:40 p.m. livestream service; 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. free take-away meals.

Rock’s boutique event – 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., September 4th. Lots of free clothes for kids and adults, all free, in memory of Debbie Boltz’s son. Donations and volunteers are needed to hang clothes and tidy up the area. Please call Debbie Boltz at 402-490-7569 to volunteer at Havelock Christian Church, 6520 Colfax Ave.
