It’s time for another culinary holiday, before New Years Eve.
Thursday is National Bacon Day, which, according to the Bacon Day website, was launched by Danya Goodman and Meff Leonard, who came up with the day to celebrate Bacon and “The Simpsons”.
The day takes place annually on December 30th and we have put together offers and current offers in restaurants across the country.
But bacon specials are in short supply as bacon is one of the most sought-after items with a shortage in some stores. Publix stores restrict purchases of bacon along with cream cheese, sports drinks, and other items.

The cost of bacon has risen and prices were 21% higher in November than a year earlier, the latest consumer price index shows.
And prices could rise 60% in 2022 if California is to start enforcing animal welfare requirements to make room for breeding pigs.
