Keisa DeRieux Franklin

Keisa DeRieux Franklin, 56, of Decatur, died Sunday February 6, 2022 at the Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette.

She was born in Gravette on Tuesday, July 27, 1965 and grew up in Northwest Arkansas, where she graduated from Gravette High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and worked for Peterson Farms in Decatur and later sold roses around the area and was known as “The Rose Lady”. She enjoyed meeting new people, traveling to Branson, Las Vegas, Six Flags, exploring new places in her car, and going to casinos. She loved food, laughter and lots of animals, and took in and cared for many strays.

Her parents, Jack Franklin and Fawneva Jane (Trout) Tiger, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son; Casey Faddis of Hollywood, California, two uncles, Thomas Trout of Pahrump, Nevada and John Lowry of Gravette.

A memorial service, to be announced at a later date, will be held at the United Methodist Church, Gravette, led by Pastor Heath Williams.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to a favorite animal shelter, the Bella Vista Animal Shelter, or to a fund to support animal hospital care.
